교황 주일
한국 교회는 해마다 ‘성 베드로와 성 바오로 사도 대축일’(6월 29일)이나 이날과 가까운 주일을 교황 주일로 지낸다. 이날 교회는 베드로 사도의 후계자인 교황이 전 세계 교회를 잘 이끌어 나갈 수 있도록 주님의 도움을 청한다. 교황 주일에는 교황의 사목 활동을 돕고자 특별 헌금을 한다.
JUNE 29 IS POPE’S DAY!
Every June 29, the Catholic Church celebrates Pope’s Day, coinciding with the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, Apostles. This special day invites the faithful to pray for the Holy Father, thank God for his ministry, and renew our unity with the Church founded by Christ upon St. Peter.
