저희 본당 14구역 이경수 요셉 형제님의 부인이신
이영자 율리아 자매님께서 지난 9월25일 새벽 노환으로
향년 83세로 선종하셨고,
유가족들의 원의에 따라
장례미사는 아래와 같이 거행되었으며,
많은 본당 교우님들께서 참석하시어 이별을 아쉬어 하셨습니다.

OBITUARY
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Young Julie (Young Ja) Yi on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. She was 82 years old.
Born on October 1, 1941 in North Korea, she moved to Guam in adulthood after losing her first husband. After meeting her second husband and children through the church, she dedicated her life to the Catholic faith, being a devoted wife, a caring and resourceful mother, and a loyal, dedicated friend to many around her.
Young Julie is survived by her husband of 34 years, Joseph (Kyung Su) Yi, daughter Clara HyunJung (Sammy) See, son John SungHwan (Brina) Yi and 5 grandchildren who she absolutely adored – Christopher, Kailee, Alexander, Madeline and Margaret.
Viewing for Young Julie will be held Friday, October 4, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL. Visitation will continue Saturday, October 5 beginning at 9:30 AM, at St. James Catholic Church, 820 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL until the celebration of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Private interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to either Dementia Society of America or Alzheimer’s Association.
